FEIMEC recycled all the canvas materials of the pavilion and the money raised from the action was reverted to the local community around the region.

RECYCLING ACTIONS

We encourage the reduction of the use of disposable materials and support the consumption of local products, thus reducing the transportation and recycling of cans and pet bottles used in the pavilion.

Credentials printed on PS material are collected at the exit of the event and sent for proper recycling.

At FEIMEC we use 80% new carpet and 20% reused carpet.

Reuse of pavilion signaling materials and recycling of all tarpaulins used at the fair for later donation.

Selective collection of organic and recyclable materials.

REDUCTION OF PRINTED MATERIALS

We reduced the use of printed materials, with a reduction in the printing of invitations, posters, stamps and other printed materials. In addition to issuing digital credentials in advance for Visitors, VIP guests and Guests of the Exhibitor, we also reduced the number of printed materials by approximately 60,000.

In materials where there was an extreme need for printing, we opted for printing on FSC paper, an international certification granted to companies that promote the responsible use of forests and the conservation of their natural resources.

INTEGRATION AND INCENTIVES

1. Meetings with the FEIMEC team involving all areas, marketing and operational so that there is engagement on the theme Sustainability.
2. Free disclosures for supplier companies that use "green smart materials" in the composition of their products and purchases of materials with FSC seal.
3. Encouraging exhibitors to use modular stands that can be reused, encouraging the recycling of stand construction material.
4. Constant tips on good sustainable practices, with digital communications, WhatsApp, emails, screens in CAEX (Exhibitor Center) and other communications.
5. We strongly recommend the use of LED lamps in the stands to reduce energy consumption.
6. We provide rest areas in the Pavilion with free wi-fi and cell phone chargers.

STUDENT DEVELOPMENT

At FEIMEC 2022 we had several actions to promote educational development, with free attractions and lectures promoting for the public entering the job market in the industry. Among these actions is the SENAI-SP Mobile Unit, which will present 5G Connectivity, WiFi 6, virtual reality and augmented reality.

Promotion of caravans to educational institutions that serve the needy public.
