FEIMEC is a fundamental part of the promotional strategy for key product launches which Ingersoll Rand brings to the market. "In addition to strengthening relationships with  customers and partners, at the show we have the opportunity to reinforce our positioning directly with the target audience for our solutions", states Fábio Massaru Narahara, Director of Marketing for the the company's Latin America Compression Technologies and Services business division.

The executive believes that the resurgence of growth in the Brazilian economy should be positively reflected in activity surrounding
industry, a critical sector for Ingersoll Rand. "Our products and services are used by nearly every segment, such
as food production, pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, textile, metals and mining."

Kuka Roboter, a world leader in intelligent automation solutions, is one of the featured robotic industry exhibitor companies at FEIMEC. For Tania Davila, who oversees the Marketing and System Partner Program, "promotion of new technologies, new software, everything more interconnected to artificial intelligence systems, motivates us even more to stay close to and on track with the Industry of the Future."

In the opinion of Patrícia Zucco, Marketing Manager for Grupo AUMAQ, located in Caxias do Sul, a city in Brazil's southern
most state of Rio Grande do Sul, FEIMEC presents itself as a potential business showcase, where a select, qualified audience takes part, focused on the
innovations and technologies which industry puts on display. The company focuses on turnkeyspecial projects, in 100% alignment with the Industry
4.0 concept. "The advent of intelligent industry encourages new heights in our sector, since companies are increasingly seeking performance
improvement, aligned with cost reduction," says the manager.

CONTENT AND EXPERIENCES

Included in the complete show concept, and designed to equip the industry with business, technology and professional development, FEIMEC presents a broad range of content and experiences.  The show's technical programming is oriented to the needs of buyers, and was developed in partnership with technical associations and universities connected to the show industries.

The presentation schedule includes the VDI Symposium, sponsored in partnership with the VDI - Brazil-Germany Engineers' Association, which this year will have as its theme “Big Data Brazil: digitizing competitiveness”; the “Productivity in Welding” Workshop, organized by the AWS (American Welding Society) in partnership with SENAI; and the Forum “Metals Manufacturing Network”, put on by Fundação Certi, one of the benchmark companies in research, development and innovation for the government, private and third party sector.

One of the new features in this 2018 show edition is the Idea Complex [Parque de Ideias], provided by some of the leading Brazilian universities connected with industry: USP, ITA, FAAP and FEI to name a few.  The Idea Complex consists of a space set aside to display projects from the universities and another space where technical presentations will be held.
Another new feature is Mobile SEBRAE, a van from SEBRAE (Brazil's Micro and Small Business Support Service), parked inside the show pavilion,
where specialists will offer attendees a free diagnosis of their company and an action plan for business improvement.

Successful activities from the first edition of FEIMEC are back to provide incentive for industry business and bring industry professionals up to date. This is the case with the  advanced Manufacturing Demonstration, which made its exclusive debut in Brazil at the 2016 show. Developed by ABIMAQ and a number of partners, the demonstration presents in practice and in real time, the primary concepts and technologies applied to Industry 4.0, and this year, will offer a different, even more innovative proposition than the one previously showcased.

With a significantly large number of international buyers in attendance at the event, FEIMEC 2018 will be fueling exports from the Brazilian machinery and equipment industry through another edition of the International Business Round Table, which places registered exhibitor companies in direct and exclusive contact with importers
from countries considered strategic. This sales promotion activity, called Project Buyer [Projeto Comprador], is organized by the Brazil Machinery Solutions Program, based on a partnership between Apex-Brazil (The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) and ABIMAQ.

Striving to offer more comfort and convenience to exhibitors and attendees, FEIMEC takes place at São Paulo Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.  The most modern expo center Latin America has to offer, the complex features a pavilion which is climate-controlled throughout, and more than 5 thousand parking spaces, all strategically located
near Congonhas Airport and the subway stations.  The show provides free transportation, to and from the Metrô Conceição subway and Congonhas airport.
