The trade show, which recorded visitors from more than 40 countries, also saw brands registering over R$ 10 million in sales, with prospects for future business even higher
FEIMEC 2026 concluded its 5th edition, consolidating a decade of activity as the leading platform for innovation, business, and technological updates for the machinery and equipment industry in Latin America. During the five days of the event, the booths welcomed leaders, managers, technical professionals, and students from various segments that make up the machinery and equipment production chain, consolidating the trade show as the main meeting point for the industrial sector in Latin America.
The relevance of the event for economic and technological development is highlighted by Gino Paulucci Júnior, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABIMAQ. According to the executive, “the success of the trade show is reflected in its role as a strategic opportunity for integration among the industry's various niches. This is a meeting that goes beyond the commercial relationship between suppliers and clients, something we had the opportunity to see daily in the aisles and booths of FEIMEC. The trade show consolidates itself as an environment where the Brazilian industry discusses innovation, accelerates investments, and strengthens its competitiveness in the face of global technological transformations. The event represents a fundamental moment for aligning strategies, delving into innovations, and generating new avenues of growth for the national manufacturing facility. And this is excellent for Brazil,” he comments.
By gathering an audience with high decision-making power, FEIMEC solidifies its mission as a strategic platform for prospecting new business and accelerating investments in the industrial sector. According to Liliane Bortoluci, business director at Informa Markets, the balance is extremely positive. “We had more than 70,000 visitors over the five days of the event. This year, we established partnerships with educational institutions, such as SENAI, which brought groups of students so they could have contact with the most modern machinery, software, and other solutions in the country,” she points out.
Exhibitors celebrate sales growth
For many exhibitors, the trade show brought great sales results and helped strengthen contact with the public. João Visetti, CEO of TRUMPF in Brazil, emphasizes that the results exceeded expectations. “Considering the sector's last two editions, in 2024 and 2025, this was undoubtedly the best trade show in terms of performance for the company. We significantly exceeded our expectations, both in sales volume and visitor qualification. We observed a much more prepared audience, with concrete projects and more mature investment decisions,” he highlights.
The CEO also emphasizes the impact of the trade show on strengthening relationships with clients. “A remarkable point in this edition was following the fulfillment of a dream for two companies that had wanted to own a TRUMPF machine for years and managed to finalize this investment. This shows the trust in our technology and the current momentum of the Brazilian industry, which seeks advanced solutions to gain competitiveness,” Visetti concludes.
R$ 12 million in sales and the largest equipment at the show
DJ Primus also surpassed its sales from the 2024 edition and, on the last day of the event, revealed the highlights of this edition. During the five days of the event, there were more than R$ 12 million in sales and 18 machines negotiated, including the largest piece of equipment at the show, an automated mechanical press line weighing 300 tons.
“Feimec 2026 brought significant results for us, with impacts across our entire portfolio. In addition to the sales achieved over the five days, we still have a prospect of R$ 60 million in opportunities for the coming months,” details Durival Júnior, CEO of the company.
Another company that highlighted a positive sales volume was Mitutoyo. The brand is still processing its final balance but already accounts for growth compared to the 2024 edition. “It was an extremely positive event. The main machines we brought saw great demand. We also had a much higher number of leads, mainly with the help of the tool provided by Informa Markets, which helped identify and attract our target audience. And, of course, we will have many meetings scheduled for post-show business opportunities,” concludes Kaká Sousa, the company's Marketing Manager.
Hernane Cauduro, director of Metal Work, highlights FEIMEC's role in attracting a qualified audience for exhibitors. “The trade show was very positive from the first day, with an audience having specific demands—meaning people came seeking information, a solution, or with some pain point to be resolved during the event. We noticed how the event showed its strength as a consolidated gathering in its tenth year. And more and more, we see the importance of FEIMEC as a forum for industries to have contact with the main novelties related to technologies and trends in the sector,” comments Hernane Cauduro, director of Metal Work.
By closing its 10-year commemorative edition, FEIMEC reinforces its role as one of the main development platforms for the Brazilian industry, connecting business, innovation, applied knowledge, and practical experiences that drive competitiveness and modernization in the productive sector. The next edition of the event is confirmed for May 9 to 13, 2028, also at São Paulo Expo.

The Minister of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services (MDIC), Márcio Elias Rosa, highlighted the structural challenges faced by the Brazilian industry and took the opportunity to reinforce the federal government's commitment to the resumption of a solid industrial policy in the country. Elias recalled that Brazil comes from a period of discouragement towards national production, and because of this, it was necessary to review measures that directly impacted the sector's competitiveness.

It is the industry that generates jobs, distributes income, and promotes innovation. In its 5th edition, FEIMEC, the main industrial sector event in Latin America, will be held between May 5th and 9th at São Paulo Expo, fully occupying one of the largest exhibition centers on the continent. São Paulo, March 18, 2026 - Nearly half of Brazilian industries already invest in renewable energy sources as a strategy to reduce costs and increase energy predictability. According to a recent survey by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), 48% of industrial companies made investments in solutions such as solar, hydro, wind, biomass, or low-carbon hydrogen. The movement reflects both environmental commitment and a clear strategy for competitiveness in the face of volatile energy costs and growing regulatory demands.
Energy modernization is accompanied by the adoption of technologies for real-time monitoring, waste reduction, reuse of inputs, and increasing the lifespan of equipment. The integration between energy efficiency and sustainability has come to be seen as a central factor in industrial competitiveness, by reducing structural costs, increasing productivity, and expanding access to international markets that are increasingly demanding regarding ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria.
"The Brazilian industry is experiencing a transition period where energy efficiency and sustainability cease to be parallel agendas and become part of the strategic core of business decisions. São Paulo, March 9, 2026 - The ability of factories to adapt to market and production changes will be the focus of the Industry 4.0 Technological Solutions Demonstrator presented during FEIMEC 2026. Organized by the Brazilian Association of the Machinery and Equipment Industry (ABIMAQ), with co-realization by SENAI-SP, the space will showcase real applications of industrial technologies under the theme “Adaptability – The Pinnacle of 4.0 Maturity”. The event takes place from May 5 to 9 at São Paulo Expo.
The space will function as an interactive showcase of the industry of the future, bringing together machinery, equipment, and digital solutions in real operation. The proposal is to allow visitors to follow in practice how automation, connectivity, and data analysis technologies integrate to make production processes more flexible, efficient, and competitive.
The project aims to guide companies toward the most advanced stage of digital transformation. The demonstrations are based on the maturity model of Acatech (National Academy of Science and Engineering), an international reference in the evaluation of industrial digitalization.

Facilities management and energy efficiency
Another central focus of the demonstrator will be Facilities Management 4.0. The space will show how digital technologies optimize industrial cleaning, waste management, and property security through predictive analysis.
The project will also present solutions that perform smart monitoring of utilities (water, electricity, and compressed air). The goal is to prove that real-time data tracking allows for a more conscious, sustainable, and economic use of resources in the industrial plant.

According to the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), digitalization is already a concrete reality in the sector: 69% of Brazilian industries use at least one digital technology in their production processes, according to the entity's Industry 4.0 Special Survey.
